| Abstract: | The partition coefficients of iodine in the systems iodine-water-chloroform (diethyl ether) and iodine-potassium iodide-water-chloroform (diethyl ether) were found by the distribution method at 15–35°C. The stability constants of triiodide ion and the enthalpy and entropy of the reaction of its formation were calculated. |
