Abstract: | Insertion of Heteroallenes into Trimethylsilyl Diphenylphosphine The Si? P bond in Me3SiPPh2 is easily attacked by the electrophilic heteroallenes CS2, RNCS(R ? Ph, Me) and RNCO (R ? Ph, Me). Normally, air- and water-sensitive 1:1 insertion products containing a Si? S (CS2) or Si? N bond (RNCS, RNCO) and small amounts of hydrolysis products are obtained. The IR, 1H NMR and mass spectra are discussed. |
