Analytical Application of Microcylinder Carbon Fiber Electrode Stripping Voltammetry of Metal Ions at Nonmercury Film Electrodes |

| Abstract: | Carbon fiber electrodes are activated by potentiostatic treatment,and used for determining metal ions directly.Activated electrode,which is not coated by mercury, shows high sensitivity in differential pulse stripping voltammetry.The detection limits near 0.5ng/ml for silver and copper are obtained.Activation procedure,electrode stability and analytical conditions are investigated.Activated electrodes have been used for the determination of copper in water samples. |
