| Abstract: | The reduction of oxygen in molten acetamide has been studied polarographically. The two waves observed are irreversible. The first wave has been analysed by the Koutecký procedure and the kinetic parameters calculated. The ECEC mechanism proposed for oxygen reduction from aqueous media holds good in this medium. |
