Abstract:In this paper,the eigenvalue problem of gyroscopic systems is considered. The quadratic eigenvalue problem is transformed to the generalized eigenvalue problem of symmetric matrices,and then a parallel subspace iterative method is presented for solving the problem.Using the structure property of the problem,we reduce the order of the matrices to one of the original problem and analysis the parallel characteristics.The numerical results in IBM-P650 and multi-core computer show the effectiveness of the parall...
