Input selection and pole assignment for linear dynamical systems

Summary It is well known that the dynamics of a system depends not only on pole configuration but also on the particuiar choice of the feedback matrix assigning the desired poles to the given plant. The aim of this paper is to introduce both a method for pole assignment and a criterion for classifying the systems having the same pole configuration and obtained by such a method.

Sommario E' noto che la dinamica di un sistema non dipende solo dalla configurazione dei poli, ma anche dalla particolare scelta della legge di retroazione che assegna al sistema l'insieme desiderato dei poli.Scopo di questo articolo è introdurre un procedimento di sintesi modale che generalizza i risultati di Wonham-Luenberger ed un criterio per la classificazione dei sistemi con gli stessi poli così ottenuti.
