Influence of CdS Nanoparticles on the Photoluminescence of Silica Xerogel |

| Abstract: | The optical properties of CdS‐doped silica xerogels were studied. The results suggested that doping of CdS nanocrystals enhanced the photoluminescence of the silica xerogels. The X‐ray diffraction and spectra analysis confirmed the formation of CdS nanoparticles in the silica matrix. |
