Abstract: | On the basis of the hypercomplex formalism, a system of dynamics equations for material points is introduced, which is a generalization of Newton's equations, and which treats spatial translations and proper rotations in a similar fashion. The notion of generalized forces is formulated in such a way that these have a welldefined physical meaning. Some simple consequences of these equations are discussed.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 1, pp. 95–98, January, 1991. |
