Optimization of silica support pore size for Pt catalysts in the complete oxidation of volatile organic compounds

Abstract:Highest catalytic performance for complete oxidation of propylene and toluene was obtained by using a Pt catalyst on a mesoporous silica support with pore sizes from 20 to 50 nm and 10 to 40 nm, respectively.
