Abstract: | 'Rh'oad crossing: A cationic Rh(I) /(cod)(2) complex catalyzes the chemo-, regio-, and stereoselective title reaction with electron-deficient alkenes leading to substituted 1,3-dienes. The analogous three-component cross-addition involving isocyanates instead of alkenes has also been developed. |
