Abstract: | This paper deals with the preparation and properties of a material formed by 1-nitroso-2-naphthol chemically bound on silica. Its uptake ability towards Co(II), Hg(II), Cu(II), Pb(II), Cd(II), Zn(II) and Al(III) was investigated, as well as the conditions for the release of metals previously fixed. |
