| Abstract: | We achieved the first asymmetric total syntheses of novel Aspidosperma indole alkaloids, (-)-subincanadines A and B, which involve an intramolecular diastereoselective Pictet-Spengler cyclization and an intramolecular Nozaki-Hiyama-Kishi reaction as key steps in the total syntheses. |
