Synthesis of some new spiro naphtho[2,3‐d][1,3]dithiole‐4,9‐dione derivatives

2(1‐Acetyl‐2‐oxopropylidene)naphtho2,3‐d]1,3]dithiole‐4,9‐dione 1 reacts with a variety of bidentates reagents to give some new functionally substituted spiro naphthodithiole‐4,9‐dione derivatives.
