Abstract: | Room temperature Mössbauer spectra of xFe2O3: (1-x) (Na2O: 2V2O5) glass system showed that Fe3+ are present at both tetrahedral-“network modifying” and octahedral-“network modifying” sites. A Zeeman hyperfine splitting is also observed for x=0.225 along with a doublet, whose internal magnetic field (?518±5 KOe) and isomer shift are found comparable to that of α-Fe2O3. |
