Abstract: | Complexation of copper(II) on the surface of chemically modified silica gels and polysiloxane xerogels both containing the same functional groups, 3-aminopropyl and 3-mercaptopropyl, was studied. The composition of the complexes formed on the surface of these two classes of sorbents was determined by ESR and electronic spectroscopies. |
