| Abstract: | Conclusions The reaction of 2,2-bis(4 -hydroxy-3-N,N-diethylaminomethylphenyl)propane with triethyl phosphite gave 2,2-bis(4-ethoxy-3-diethylphosphonomethylphenyl)propane via the intermediate formation of a compound with a pentacovalent phosphorus atom.
