Uniformly bounded representations of $SL (2, R)$

Abstract:	We compute the “norm” of irreducible uniformly bounded representations of $SL (2, R)$ . We show that the Kunze–Stein version of the uniformly bounded representations has minimal norm in its similarity class of uniformly bounded representations.
