| Abstract: | 2‐Substituted‐2,3‐dihydro‐4(1H)‐quinazolinones were synthesized in high to excellent yields through direct cyclocondensation of 2‐anthranilamide with aldehydes or ketones in the presence of a recyclable cerous methanesulfonate by grinding technique under aqueous conditions. |
