Abstract: | The rate constants for the quenching by oxygen of triplet states of aromatic molecules (naphthalenes-d8 and-h8, phenanthrene) forming inclusion complexes with crystalline β-cyclodextrin in water at 290 K are equal to 900–1300 L mol−1s−1.
