Abstract: | In this paper, a micro blue-violet laser by frequency doubling of a semiconductor laser with a new nonlinear organometallic complex cadmium mercury thiocyanate crystal (CMTC) is reported. At room temperature, the blue-violet laser output of 11.8 mW at 404 nm and the conversion4efficiency of the second harmonic generation (SHG) of 0. 60% were obtained with a 1. 98 W, 808 nm semiconductor laser and a 4 mm crystal. |
