摘    要:阐述了一种S频段调制器中频单元的设计方案,针对中频单元的载波关断、本振泄漏、输出功率准确度、输出端口的回波损耗、输出杂散以及频综小步进输出和低相位噪声输出等设计难点进行了详细分析,并对关键电路进行了计算机仿真。给出测试结果为:杂散抑制-50dBc(1600MHz带内),相位噪声-86dBc/Hz@10kHz。该设备已在工程中广泛使用,性能稳定可靠,验证了该方案的可行性。

Abstract:In this paper, a design scheme of S-band modulator IF unit in Ka-band satellite communications is deseribed. Some design challenges such as carrier cut-off, local oscillator leakage, output power accuracy, echo loss of output port, spurious, small step output of frequency synthesizer and low phase noise output are analyzed in detail. Finally, test results are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the scheme with spurious of - 50 dBc (1 600 MHz in band) and phase noise of - 86dBc/Hz@ 10kHz. This S-band modulator IF unit has been widely used and shown its stability and reliability, which proves its feasibility.
