| Abstract: | 3,4-Difluoro-1-t-butyl-pyrrole was synthesized by the thermal 2+3] cycloaddition of 2-carbomethoxy-1-t-butyl-aziridine with chlorotrifluoro- ethylene, followed by treatment with sodium methoxide then with alcoholic potassium hydroxide. Thermal decarboxylation afforded the title compound. |
