| Abstract: | In this paper we study the Petrovsky equation with nonlinear damping and source terms u_(tt) +△~2_u + au_t|u_t|~(m-2) = bu|u|~(p-2) in a bounded domain,where 0,6>0,m,p>2.We prove that if the evolution of the solution enters into the unstable set,the solution blows up in finite time. |
