| Abstract: | A relatively simple and rapid method has been developed for the analysis of the oxygen-18 content of many inorganic compounds including water. The samples are heated with silver cyanide at 500 degrees and the carbon dioxide formed is separated from the other products by means of a methylcyclohexane slush at -130 degrees and analysed mass spectrometrically. |
