| Abstract: | Spot tests for the detection of 0.02 mug of iodate in the presence of 45 mg of periodate, and for the detection of 0.1 mug of vic-dihydroxy compounds are described. The tests are based on the iodide-iodate reaction, in the presence of periodate masked by an excess of molybdate. |
