Homogeneous nucleation of some sparingly soluble salts |

| Abstract: | The homogeneous nucleation of barium, strontium and lead sulphates and lead carbonate has been studied by particle counting, and values for the interfacial tension and radius of each critical nucleus calculated. The changes in crystal size and shape that occur near S(crit) are reported. |
