Determination of thioacetamide by oxidation with chloramine-T |

| Abstract: | Chloramine-T oxidises thioacetamide quantitatively in an alkaline medium in the hot, converting the entire sulphur into sulphate. A back-titration method, making use of this oxidation reaction, has been suggested for the determination of thioacetamide. |
