Conformal quantum field theory and half-sided modular inclusions of von-Neumann-Algebras

Abstract:LetN, phmmat be von-Neumann-Algebras on a Hilbert space hamilt, OHgr a comon cyclic and separarting vector. Assume OHgr to be cyclic and separating also forN cap phmmat. Denote byJphmmat, JN the modular conjugations to (phmmat, OHgr), Deltaphmmat and DeltaN the associated modular operators. IfMediaObjects/220_2005_BF02096802_f1.jpg andMediaObjects/220_2005_BF02096802_f2.jpg these data define in a canonical way a conformal quantum field theory in a cricle.
