Vortex displacement and elastic coupling in layered superconductors

The effect of the elastic coupling on the penetration depth in ac magnetic field and on the magnetic permeability in layered superconductors is studied. The results obtained show that λ and μ become functions on the coordinate oriented in the magnetic field direction. In addition, the average permeability increases with the increase of the ratio between of the layer thickness and the elastic coupling depths, and decreases with the increase of the ratio between the elastic coupling depths of the two coupled superconductors.
