On Jastrow wavefunctions containing attractive correlations |

| Abstract: | A quantum mechanical explanation is given in support of the form of Jastrow wavefunction introduced by De Michelis and Reatto. We propose a new, simpler wavefunction which has the correct long-range behaviour. |
