| Abstract: | For a damped harmonic oscillator with frequency fluctuations it is shown that the phenomenological modelling of this system using the Stratonovich interpretation of stochastic differential equations leads to the same Fokker-Planck equation as the analysis of this system by means of projector techniques. |
