Coulomb scattering in the eikonal approximation |

| Abstract: | We derive a new expression for the eikonal approximation of the nuclear Coulomb scattering amplitude. Our expression should be particularly useful for the treatment of Coulomb scattering in hadron-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus scattering at high and intermediate energies. |
