| Abstract: | The spectrum of the first electronic transition of p-cymene cooled in a supersonic jet was measured by resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionisation (REMPI) in a time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer. The band origin is strong and appears at 270.61nm (air value). This spectrum is useful for the detection of p-cymene in trace analysis. |
