| Abstract: | A series of crown ether cyanine dyes including crown ether styryl cyanine dyes, crown ether merocyanine dyes and crown ether squarylium cyanine dyes (unsymmetric and symmetric) derived from key intermediate 2‐methyl‐5,6(15‐crown‐5)benzotellurazole ( 1 ) were prepared. |
