Abstract:Production of amorphous alloy layer in pure polycrystalline iron thin film by boron ion implantatiom has been studied and interesting phenomena have been observed such as the magnetic coercive field of the film decreases non-monotonously with increasing ion dose, etc. The possible mechanisms of the phenomena have been discussed.
