| Abstract: | By the method of IR spectroscopy the hydrogen bonds of 1,1-diphenylethanol (DPE) depending on the concentration in the CCl4 solution and temperature have been investigated. It has been found that hydrogen bonds in crystalline DPE form a tetramer, and in a solution with a concentration of 0.5 mole/liter, cyclic dimers are formed which, with increasing concentration, pass into a cyclic tetramer. |
