| Abstract: | The, facile preparation of 4-pbenyltetrabydroisoquinolines by the acid-catalyzed cyclization of 2-benzylamino-1-pbenyletbanols and related compounds is described along with a discussion of the scope, limitations, and possible mechanism of the reaction. |
