| Abstract: | In the previous paper,1 we have reported that 8-oxoheptafulvene (1) reacts with monocyclic tropones to from adducts (2) containing a novel norcaradiene and cycloheptatriene moieties according to apparent 8 + 2 cycloaddition process. |
