| Abstract: | A non-autonomous non-linear dynamical system with a small parameter that describes the parametric oscillations of a flexible rod with three static equilibrium positions is obtained. The generating equation of this model is a dynamical system in a plane with a separatrix loop. The qualitative analysis presented includes an investigation of the stability and bifurcation of subharmonic motions at resonance energy levels. |
