Synthesis and thermal stability of a novel phosphorus-nitrogen containing intumescent flame retardant |

| Abstract: | A novel phosphorus-nitrogen containing intumescent flame retardant (P-N IFR) was prepared via the reaction of dichlor-opentate with JV-methylaniline. The structure of the product was confirmed by 1H NMR, 31P NMR, MS and IR. TGA analysis showed it has effective thermal stability. |
