摘    要:本文介绍了应用TP-801单板计算机实现对LED点阵显示器进行控制。实验结果表明,本显示器可以简单、灵活地实现三种颜色的变色显示,不但美观、醒目而且可以满足一些特殊场合的显示需要。字符大小、形状、颜色及字数可以由程序随意改变,从而显示出计算机控制——“万能逻辑电路”的优越性。在国内尚未见到同类工作的报导。

Abstract:This paper describes a new variable color character display unit which is a dual color LED array controlled by a single chip processor.The dual color LED matrix display used in this experiment is a 5×7 dot-array which can display a character. The dual color LED consists of two dies (GaAlAs and GaP) which can emit red and green light respectively. Both dies are encapsulated in the same head with three leads. One of the three leads is a common negative electrode. The dual color LED will emit red, green or yellow light when two dies are turned on respectively or simultaneously. Three colors'' character display can be carried out conveniently and flexibly using TP-801 single chip processor to control LED array. It is not only of a beauty and attracting attention, but also can meet some specific needs. The color and numbers of the characters displayed in the unit can be changed at one''s option through program, therefore, advantage of computer control-"universal logic circuit" is shown.
