Abstract: | Summary. Platinum(II) chloride was used in the hydrosilylation of 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane and divinylbenzene. The reaction was
monitored online by FTIR spectroscopy and reaction kinetics were determined by Self Modeling Curve Resolution (SMCR). The
hydrosilylation polymerization follows a second order polyaddition kinetics with k = 2.03 × 10−4 dm3 mol−1 s−1. |
