Abstract: | Solid phase method of strontium aluminate synthesis (SrAl2O4) is based on calcination of the mixture of strontium carbonate (SrCO3), aluminum oxide (Al2O3), oxides of REM (europium, dysprosium) and a mineralizer - borate glass (H3BO3) at a temperature of 1200-1400 °C within 4-6 hours. We have proposed a technique of thermal shock – rapid heating and rapid cooling of the sample by means of which the duration of synthesis is reduced to 30 minutes. |
