The first (31P, 17O,and 103Rh) NMR observation complex formation of rhodium(III) with phosphoric acid

Abstract:31P, 17O, and 103Rh NMR spectroscopy shows that rhodium(III) reacts with phosphoric acid to generate polynuclear aquaphosphate complexes in which phosphate ions mostly have a bridging function. Assignment of 103Rh NMR signals in dominant rhodium complexes is suggested.
