摘    要:本文用有限元分析软件ANSTS 6.0计算了半导体量子点内的弹性应变和弹性应变能, 通过对金塔形、台形和圆顶形量子点内总弹性应变能的计算和总能量的比较,得到了在热平衡条件下金字塔形量子点是最稳定的结构.

Abstract:In this paper, we calculated the elastic strain and elastic strain energy inside the semiconductor quantum dots by using the finite element programming package ANSYS 6.0. The values of elastic strain and strain energy in the three shapes of quantum dots were calculated, and led to the conclusion that the pyramid island structure of quantum dots is the most stable shape in the three shapes under thermal-equilibrium condition
