Motion of shock waves in a channel of variable cross section in the presence of a steady flow regime

Abstract:The motion of shock waves against a steady flow in a channel of variable cross section is considered. Situations for which Chisnell's hypothesis 1] or a quasistationary flow model are valid are considered.
