| Abstract: | The authors discuss the shortcoming of the Fourier transform, then introduce the short-time Fourier transform and the wavelet transform. Their features and optical implementation are given. The results and comparison of the match filtering characteristic identification for the conventional and wavelet transforms are presented. |
