| Abstract: | We characterize locally noetherian modules by relative (quasi-)continuity of left R-modules in this paper. It is shown that a left R-module M is locally noetherian if and only if every direct sum of M-injective left R-modules in σM] is S2-(quasi-)continuous, where S2 is the class of all semisimple left R-modules. |
