| Abstract: | In this article, Exp‐function method is used to obtain an exact solution of the equal‐width wave‐Burgers equation (EW‐Burgers). The method is straightforward and concise, and its applications are promising. It is shown that Exp‐function method, with the help of symbolic computation, provides a very effective and powerful mathematical tool for solving EW‐Burgers equation. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
