Many-body corrections to the effective electron mass in the noble metals |

| Abstract: | The electronic mass enhancement from the electron-phonon interaction is calculated for the noble metals from data on the electric conductivity and is found to be 10–15%. A brief discussion of many-body effects in band calculations is also given. |
